El día domingo 5 de agosto tuvo lugar el PPTQ de la tienda Scion of the Souls, con una asistencia de 50 jugadores. Después de 6 rondas se jugó la porción de eliminación directa del torneo, teniendo como resultado la victoria del mazo que muchos consideran el mejor del metajuego actual de moderno: Humanos. El ganador, Jorge López, recomienda no tomar este mazo a la ligera, ya que es el que requiere un mayor conocimiento de todos los otros mazos que se jueguen en el formato. Para jugarlo de forma óptima, muchas veces se debe saber qué está jugando el oponente basado únicamente en su primer tierra.
En general, moderno es un formato bastante variado. Prueba de ello es la diversidad del top 8 de este torneo, siendo Humanos el único mazo repetido.
